The cooking class was held at a school where the underprivelaged or poor are given a chance to learn a trade. There were other courses in bakery, pastry making and deaf children learnt to sew. It is free to the children and youths and at the end of their course they are placed in a job. This is free to them and their families and they never have to repay for their courses

Through the Alliance for a Healthier Generation, a partnership between the Clinton Foundation and the American Heart Association, students have found innovative ways to implement healthier choices by increasing physical activity and participating in walk-a-thons, cooking classes, and fitness centers.
